The 91st annual Academy Awards will take place on February 24th.
We made it, folks! It has not been easy, but we have finally arrived at the end of the 2019 award show season. I’m sure the Academy itself is just as excited as the rest of us to put this season from hell behind us.
The Academy suffered a lot of media mishaps and was riddled with controversy after controversy,
On the other hand, us movie lovers also suffered through unpredictable and outright appalling award show outcomes over the course of the past two months.
Film festivals have already started and so we can confidently look towards a brighter 2019-2020 season as of tomorrow. I wish you all the best for the coming year and I hope 2019 never repeats itself again.
