The 76th annual Golden Globe Awards will be held on January 6th and will mark the official start of award show season. Led by the HFPA, the Golden Globes have a reputation of being “Hollywood’s biggest part”, because the alcohol is unlimited and the actors take advantage.
The Golden Globes are a little different from other award shows because they not only award the greatest achievements in film, but in television as well. Also, the Globes always have two best pictures, two best actors and two best actresses. How? Well, they separate movies into two categories: Drama and Comedy/Musical. If you keep an eye on nominations, you probably already realized that there is some serious category fraud going on this year, but that’s a topic for another day.
For now, here are my predictions for this year’s main categories:
